Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer located in London, OH. The Junior Interior Designer will assist in on-site appointments with clients, writing contracts, space planning, developing creative interior design concepts, and selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). Additionally, responsibilities include creating construction drawings, collaborating with clients and team members, and ensuring project deliverables meet the highest standards. This job is primarily for residential interiors with a few commercial projects mixed in.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design principles
Knowledge of Interior Design Principals and Elements and ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience in creating Construction Drawings and preparing technical documentation
Familiarity with selecting and specifying FF&E to meet creative and functional needs
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment
Proficiency in design software such as 2020, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited university or college
Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
Passion for design and a strong attention to detail
Communication skills with clients to explain design elements
Ability to measure spaces and understand the mechanics of a home
Excellent Alegebraic Skills and ability to figure square footages as well as estimating the projects
Be able to build spreadsheets on Google Sheets
