
Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a nationally recognized law firm in Austin, TX to hire a Senior Executive Legal Assistant. In this role, you will serve as the primary administrative partner to a high‑producing attorney, providing advanced executive support, managing priorities with minimal supervision, and contributing to client service and business development activities. You will work closely with a collaborative team and assist with overflow needs as they arise. This is a full‑time, direct hire position with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 remote).
Key Responsibilities
Manage attorney workflow, delegation, and quality control
Serve as liaison with clients and internal teams, ensuring confidentiality
Anticipate needs, manage shifting priorities, and solve administrative issues
Support business development activities and events
Handle calendars, scheduling, travel, and email management
Prepare and proofread legal documents; maintain organized files
Assist with new matter intake, billing, budgeting, and reporting
Track projects and deadlines; update stakeholders
Collaborate with team members and support special projects
Prepare and revise legal documents, managing priorities and tight deadlines
Handle mail processing and courier deliveries; maintain contacts, CLE tracking, and memberships
Operate office equipment and maintain professionalism under pressure
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required
5+ years of experience providing comprehensive support to organizational leadership within a law firm
3+ years of legal administrative or legal assistant experience required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm; transcription experience preferred
Exceptional grammar, proofreading, attention to detail, and organizational skills
