Role Summary The Field Marketing Manager owns the strategy, planning, and execution of a portfolio of Field Marketing events designed to accelerate the sales pipeline, drive customer upsell, and unlock growth in high-potential markets. This role is responsible for delivering highly curated, high-profile, and high-impact event experiences that move key accounts through the funnel and deepen relationships with existing customers. Reporting to the Director of Owned Events, this role partners closely with Sales, Digital Marketing/Demand Generation, and Marketing to execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM)-driven field events that directly support revenue goals. This position manages one direct report responsible for driving event RSVPs and attendance.
What You'll Do
Field Marketing Strategy & Ownership
Own a defined portfolio of Field Marketing events, including high-visibility, intimate and bespoke experiences that drive revenue and open markets
Design field events as a core marketing motion focused on pipeline acceleration, deal progression, and customer upsell
Partner with the Director of Owned Events to align field event strategy to broader owned events and marketing goals
Event Planning & Execution
Lead end-to-end execution of Field Marketing events, including concept development, audience targeting, budgeting, timelines, logistics, and on-site delivery
Ensure events are delivered on-time, on-budget, and with exceptional attention to detail
Curate memorable, differentiated experiences tailored to specific audiences and segments
Manage vendors, venues, production partners, and on-site staff to ensure flawless execution
Account-Based Marketing & Market Activation
Lead an ABM-first approach to Field Marketing, designing events around target account lists, buying groups, and regional priorities
Partner closely with Sales, Digital Marketing/Demand Generation to identify, prioritize, and activate high-potential accounts and markets
Align event concepts, messaging, and attendee strategy to specific account and opportunity goals
Use account insights, intent data, and performance signals to inform event design and targeting
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a trusted partner to Sales, Product Marketing, and Digital Marketing
Work closely with Sales leadership and account teams to ensure events support deal acceleration and expansion opportunities
Coordinate executive participation and ensure stakeholders are prepared for high-visibility engagements
Team Leadership & Operations
Manage and mentor one direct report focused on event RSVPs, attendance, and audience engagement
Establish clear processes and timelines to drive strong registration and attendance for each event
Contribute to scalable playbooks and best practices for Field Marketing events
Metrics, Budget & ROI
Own Field Marketing event budgets and ensure accurate forecasting and spend management
Track and report on marketing metrics tied to events, including pipeline influenced, revenue impact, upsell contribution, attendance, and engagement
Use data and insights to continuously optimize event performance and audience targeting
Qualifications Required
3-5 years of experience in Field Marketing or Event Marketing
Proven experience owning Field Marketing events that support pipeline acceleration and revenue goals
Strong understanding of events as a marketing motion with measurable business impact
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority
Experience managing at least one direct report or project-based team members
Preferred
Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and execution
Experience partnering closely with Sales and Digital Marketing teams
Experience in B2B SaaS or technology environments
Experience executing highly curated, high-touch events
