Position Summary The Inside Sales Representative is an entry-level member of a team assigned to the sales of all Rhode Island FC & Centreville Bank Stadium ticket inventory. Our program is based on teaching the fundamentals of sales. These fundamentals include prospecting over the phone and online, setting meetings, running meetings, and closing business. Each rep will work closely with his/her supervisor through each phase, as well as the senior leadership team who will help provide guidance. There will be a focus on individual, group, corporate and youth soccer sales. The focus of the program will be adjusted based on the needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Learn best practices for selling season, group, corporate and youth soccer game tickets.

Sell RIFC ticket products to a wide variety of prospective buyers and provide service after the sale to those customers.

Perform grassroots marketing activities at various locations across Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts to drive fan development and sales lead generation.

Keep accurate CRM records and perform necessary follow-up with customers in order to close sales.

Process orders by using the SeatGeek ticketing system.

Assist in the planning and execution of RIFC elements on game days.

Meet weekly with management to evaluate results, establish best processes and strategies for driving new business.

Support Ticket Sales Account Executives with group sales fulfillment, including pre-event questions and communication of instructions for matchday experiences.

Represent RIFC at various community events such as festivals, youth sports tournaments, and partner events.

Become proficient in the use of the SeatGeek ticketing platform.

Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Critical Ancillary Stadium Event Support: RIFC & Centreville Bank Stadium operate as “one team” therefore you, from time to time, will be directed to provide support and on occasion work as assigned for events at Centreville Bank Stadium.

Qualifications

Prior experience in customer service, sports business, sales, or a related field preferred.

Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.

Ability to meet or exceed performance metrics and work in a results-driven environment.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven setting with non-traditional hours.

Professional presence with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and represent the organization at public events.

High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

Work Environment & Schedule

Role requires availability for all Rhode Island FC home matches and applicable events.

Frequent evening, weekend, and holiday work required based on event schedules.

Position is based in Rhode Island with regular in-person presence at the team office and stadium.
