Regional Sales Manager

to help drive growth as the organization invests heavily in expanding its conveyor components, pulley, and precision fabrication business.

The Position

Field-based

Regional Sales Manager

role covering a Midwest territory

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow regional revenue

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across conveyor, package handling, and fabrication services

Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting

Drive quoting activity and manage opportunities through close

Expand existing accounts through new programs, upselling, and cross-selling

Work closely with engineering, production, marketing, and customer support teams

Support customer visits, audits, and technical discussions

Maintain accurate CRM reporting, funnel management, and forecasting

Travel

30–50%

(up to 70% during peak periods), primarily regional

Candidate should live within a

4-hour drive of Northwest Ohio

Key Responsibilities

Solution-Based Selling:

Identify customer needs and deliver tailored conveyor and fabrication solutions

Prospecting:

Build new business pipeline through research, outreach, and networking

Territory Planning:

Strategically manage time, accounts, and growth opportunities

Sales Funnel Management:

Create action plans, monitor progress, and adjust strategy

Customer Relationship Development:

Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers

Collaboration:

Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience

Reporting:

Provide regular updates on pipeline, activity, and market trends

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

10+ years of B2B sales experience

in manufacturing or industrial markets

Experience selling through

industrial distribution, manufacturer’s representatives, and direct to OEMs

Background in

package handling, conveyor systems, pulleys, fabrication services, or power transmission products

Existing relationships within package handling, food & beverage, big-box retail, automotive aftermarket, or baggage handling markets

Strong mechanical aptitude;

precision steel tube fabrication experience preferred

Proven history of exceeding sales targets

Strong CRM discipline and reporting habits

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to travel up to

70%

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

Commission:

$40,000–$60,000 target (uncapped)

OTE:

$150,000+
