We’re seeking an Outside Sales Representative who understands the industrial market and thrives in a relationship‑based sales environment. This role is ideal for someone who knows valves, instrumentation, or related mechanical/industrial products and enjoys being the go‑to resource for customers.

What You’ll Do

Develop and manage a territory of industrial and commercial accounts

Build strong relationships with maintenance teams, engineers, purchasing managers, and plant leadership

Identify customer needs and recommend the right valve, actuator, or instrumentation solutions

Conduct on‑site visits, troubleshoot product issues, and provide technical support

Grow existing accounts while actively prospecting new opportunities

Work closely with inside sales and operations to ensure accurate quoting, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction

Represent RS Hudgins with professionalism, urgency, and integrity

What We’re Looking For

Experience in valve sales, PVF, industrial distribution, instrumentation, or mechanical products

Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn product lines

Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable managing your own schedule

Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills

Ability to travel within the Charlotte region and surrounding markets
