Responsibilities The Business Development Representative represents Palm Point Behavioral Health to the community, interested persons and potential referral sources within the identified market service area. They assist in the organization and implementation of the marketing plan, support the Director of Business Development in developing and coordinating projects, and perform local marketing functions as assigned. The role involves daily travel in a defined geographic territory to meet with primary referral sources such as hospitals, crisis centers, psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health professionals, other physicians and community resources.

Qualifications Education

– High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, a behavioral health area, or related field preferred. RN or LPN preferred.

Job Requirements – Experience

Proven sales experience, minimum of 2 years in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, preferably in Volusia County.

Local market knowledge – in-depth understanding of the Volusia County business landscape, including key industries, competitors, and networking opportunities to develop strategic relationships.

Excellent communication and networking skills – ability to engage with local business leaders, attend regional networking events, and build long‑term partnerships to drive growth and expand market presence.

Valid driver’s license and well‑developed knowledge of the geographical area assigned.
