
Part- Time Social Media/ Marketing Assistant

Miller & Company is a fast-growing CPA firm based in Whitestone, Queens, and we're looking to expand our team! We're seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Part Time Marketing/Social Media Assistant for our Whitestone, Queens office who is eager to make a significant impact and help drive the firm’s growth. This position will be located in our Whitestone, Queens office. Please only apply if you are able to be in person in our office. This will start off as part time but has the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
Assist with creating and posting content for
TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms Brainstorm and execute short-form video ideas that make accounting topics easy to understand Write captions, post copy, and basic scripts aligned with our firm voice Schedule posts and maintain a content calendar Monitor engagement, comments, and messages Creative & Marketing Support
Help draft and organize
business plans, marketing plans, and internal strategy documents Translate accounting concepts into simple, client-friendly content Research social media trends and competitor marketing strategies Accounting Firm–Specific Marketing
Assist with educational marketing content (tax tips, small business advice, FAQs) Support email marketing (newsletters, client announcements, reminders) Help update and organize marketing materials (service descriptions, one-pagers, website content) Assist with basic website updates and blog uploads Analytics & Organization
Prepare simple reports on what content is performing well Keep marketing files, assets, and templates organized Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or a related field (internships count) Comfortable using
TikTok
and other major social platforms Strong computer skills and familiarity with common digital tools Creative thinker with attention to detail Willingness to learn about accounting and finance (no accounting background required) This position is paying $25.00-35.00/hour based on experience.
