Position Overview MartinPatrick 3 is seeking a talented Interior Designer with 3–5 years of experience and strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit to support all phases of the design process, from concept through completion. This full‑time position plays a key role in delivering exceptional design solutions, detailed technical documentation, and seamless project execution.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑focused, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously. A strong working knowledge of construction documents, kitchen and bath design, custom cabinetry, and lighting design is essential, along with a solid foundation in product knowledge related to interior finishes and furnishings. The successful candidate is a self‑starter who thrives in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment and is comfortable managing projects from inception through installation.
Qualifications
3–5 years of professional interior design experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit for producing construction documents
Strong knowledge of residential finishes, furniture, and fabrics
Experience preparing and documenting material, furniture, and lighting specifications
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with designers, architects, builders, and subcontractors
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and client‑facing skills
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a fast‑paced environment
Commercial design experience is preferred but not required
Completed degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution (required)
Key Responsibilities
Develop space plans, furniture layouts, and comprehensive construction documents
Create and occasionally render 3D models in Revit and/or Photoshop
Conduct site measurements and document existing conditions
Source and specify materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting
Prepare and deliver design presentations to clients and project partners
Produce professional‑quality design boards and visual presentations
Manage project budgets and timelines, including vendor coordination and deliveries
Support fellow designers with procurement and project logistics
Maintain an organized, professional, and positive studio environment
