
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of golf operations, including but not limited to private lessons & clinics, providing exceptional customer service, organizing tournaments, managing tee times, conducting golf lessons, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of members and guests.
Experience Required
PGA or LPGA level 1 associate preferred
Candidate must be available March 15th through November 1st on a yearly basis
Proficiency in golf instruction and club fitting
Previous experience working in a golf facility or related industry
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge of golf course management software (e.g., EZ Tee Pro, Golf Genius)
Essential Responsibilities
Instructional Support:
Assist the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf in running clinics, lessons, and junior golf programs along with running private lessons
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional service to members and guests, assisting with their golfing needs and ensuring a positive experience
Pro Shop Operations:
Support the management of the pro shop, including merchandise display, inventory management, and sales support
Event Assistance:
Help organize and execute tournaments and special events, including registration, merchandising sales, and participant engagement
Course Management:
Aid in maintaining the golf facility, ensuring cleanliness and organization in all areas

30 hour work week with plenty of opportunity to teach
