Occupancy & Compliance Specialist
who thrives on measurable outcomes and minimizing risk. This is a pivotal role. The right specialist is the
single point of accountability for regulatory integrity
across the portfolio, directly safeguarding the firm's financing and operational stability. What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate’s performance will be defined by achieving these critical results: Achieve Regulatory Audit Excellence:
Secure a
100% clean record
on all formal audits (MOR, HCR, HDC, HPD, Investor Audits). Success means
zero critical findings
and no financial penalties resulting from file or compliance errors. Ensure Revenue Integrity:
Maintain the financial health of the properties by achieving a
98% or higher on-time completion rate
for all Annual and Interim Recertifications. Drive Occupancy Velocity:
Provide immediate, high-precision compliance processing to ensure that compliance is never the delay point in leasing. Success is
minimal unit vacancy time
due to accurate and timely move-in/move-out certifications. Maintain File Mastery:
Oversee the meticulous management of all current and archived resident files, guaranteeing
audit-ready accuracy and security
at all times in adherence to federal and state retention policies. Non-Negotiable Requirements
We are seeking a seasoned professional with proven experience delivering these results: Compliance Expertise:
Minimum of
2 years of hands-on experience
working directly with
Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)
and/or
HUD (Section 8)
programs. Software Proficiency:
Demonstrated competence using affordable housing property management software, with a preference for
Yardi . Administrative Stamina:
The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage high-volume documentation, and meet strict regulatory deadlines. Core Skills:
Strong analytical ability, impeccable attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate and a robust benefits package.
Pay Rate:
$28.00 - $31.25 per hour ($58-$65K+) Work Environment:
