Position Overview Marketing & Investor Relations Analysts support capital raising and investor engagement efforts by preparing marketing materials, managing investor communications, and analyzing fundraising performance data. The role combines financial analysis, content development, CRM management, and strategic messaging in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
These professionals work closely with investment teams, senior leadership, compliance, fund administrators, and external marketing partners to ensure consistent and compelling communication with current and prospective investors.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, pitch decks, fact sheets, and private placement memoranda (PPMs)
Support quarterly and annual investor reporting processes, including performance summaries and portfolio updates
Maintain and update CRM systems with investor activity, pipeline tracking, and engagement metrics
Conduct investor research and help identify potential LP prospects across institutional channels
Track fundraising progress and generate internal pipeline and performance reports
Coordinate logistics for investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and annual meetings
Assist in drafting investor letters, website content, and thought leadership materials
Ensure accuracy and consistency of performance metrics (IRR, TVPI, MOIC, AUM, TWR, etc.) across marketing materials
Partner with compliance teams to ensure marketing materials adhere to regulatory standards
Identify opportunities to improve branding, messaging, and investor engagement processes
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, or a related field
Strong understanding of asset management and private markets fund structures
Familiarity with investment performance metrics and fundraising processes
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills
Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced fundraising environment
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Interest in investor relations, capital raising, and financial marketing
