Gartner is seeking Graphic Designers to produce high-quality, client-ready graphics, data visualizations, and presentation layouts for projects of lower to moderate complexity. This role is heavily focused on PowerPoint-based storytelling and requires strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.

Submission Requirements (Critical)

Resume must include an online portfolio link for manager review.

Portfolio must include PowerPoint work samples (candidates without PPT examples will be rejected).

Candidates may be asked to support onsite work at Gartner facilities if local to Irving, TX or Arlington, VA.

Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality graphics, data visualizations, and layouts that are client-ready and aligned to project goals.

Consistently apply Gartner brand standards and visual design principles across all deliverables.

Translate complex information into intuitively consumable visuals and slide narratives, with minimal manager support.

Partner consultatively with internal stakeholders and peers; incorporate feedback and iterate designs efficiently.

Clearly communicate design rationale, including how recommendations align to brand principles and user-centered design.

Organize and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment; manage competing deadlines effectively.

Use designated tools (e.g., CPP, ClickUp) to track timelines and communicate project expectations.

Proactively inform manager of progress; elevate roadblocks, scope changes, or risks early.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presenting and explaining design decisions to professionals at all levels.

Self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail; ability to multitask across multiple projects.

Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and work independently when needed.

Experience interpreting complex data and developing accurate, compelling visualizations.

Experience with visual and digital storytelling, presentations, and user-centered design.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint (slide layout, typography, charting, and visual storytelling).

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a closely related discipline.

1-3 years of post-college experience in a graphic design role (or equivalent portfolio evidence).

Prior experience designing executive-facing or client-facing presentations and data-driven slide decks.

Work Environment & Collaboration Designers will partner with internal stakeholders in a consultative manner and are expected to manage their work through defined tracking tools while maintaining clear, proactive communication on status, risks, and changes in scope.
