
SCM Kansas City is looking for an experienced Account Executive. Traditional and digital media experience required. Great opportunity to work with established accounts at Kansas City's top radio stations.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Account Executive located in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The Account Executive will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and developing effective sales strategies tailored to client needs. This role includes managing the sales cycle from initiation to closure, maintaining accurate sales records, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful campaign delivery. The Account Executive will play a key role in achieving revenue targets and contributing to the growth of Steel City Media.

Pay:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Develop client relationships, contact key accounts, and develop new business
Manage accounts at various stages in the sales cycle
Expand sales in the local market by presenting businesses with ideas utilizing radio, digital advertising, and events
Generate sales, oversee campaigns, and deliver presentations
Develop short and long range plans for revenue growth and consistently research new leads
Work with our Promotions and Creative teams to deliver client campaigns
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools to manage client information and sales activities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in media, advertising, or a related industry a plus
