
SALES MANAGER - DIVISION URBAN - DACH REGION

Responsibilities
Develop and implement a
sales strategy for urban rail solutions
(trams, light rail and metro vehicles) for existing and potential customers in the DACH region.
Manage existing accounts and acquire new customers, with a strong focus on
cities, municipalities, public transport authorities, and urban transport operators , including targeted lead generation and professional Key Account Management.
Drive sales activities in close collaboration with other departments/teams within the Group to deliver competitive urban mobility solutions.
Prepare annual sales forecasts, monitor urban mobility market trends, and proactively adjust strategies to strengthen long-term market presence and brand positioning.
Represent the company in the DACH market towards urban transport stakeholders, public authorities, and industry partners, ensuring a strong and credible positioning within the urban rail sector.
Actively
support proposal preparation and public tender management , including complex B2G procurement procedures for urban rail projects.
Required Skills
Completed commercial or technical education, ideally complemented by a degree in business administration, economics, or engineering.
A strong and well-established
network within the urban rail and public transport sector , particularly in the DACH region.
Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills in
German (fluent) and English .
Willingness to undertake regular business travel within the assigned region.
Deep understanding of DACH and EU regulatory frameworks, with a strong focus on
public procurement (B2G)
in urban transport projects.
Proven experience with B2G and B2B tendering processes in the DACH and Central European markets, ideally related to urban mobility or infrastructure projects.
