Position Overview Membership Sales Account Executive
for the University of South Florida (USF) plays a key role in driving premium & season ticket revenue for USF Athletics, with a primary focus on selling membership seating tied to the university’s new stadium project and other key revenue generating sports. This position is responsible for generating new revenue through high‑level relationship building, consultative sales strategies, and long‑term account management while supporting the successful launch and growth of the new On‑Campus Stadium campaign. This position will work onsite at USF Athletics Lee Roy Selmon Athletics Center in Tampa, Florida.
Key Responsibilities New Stadium Project Sales
Lead sales efforts for premium seating and membership products associated with USF’s new stadium project (e.g., loge boxes, living room boxes, club seating, and general seating)
Educate prospects on stadium vision, timelines, seating options, and long‑term benefits
Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified premium prospects
Execute sales presentations, site visits, and renderings reviews
Close multi‑year agreements and meet or exceed individual revenue targets
Membership & Premium Sales
Sell premium seating and annual membership products across USF Athletics
Develop customized solutions based on client needs, including corporate and high-net‑worth individuals
Retain and grow existing accounts through proactive relationship management and upselling
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle and beyond
Account Management & Stewardship
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned premium members
Coordinate benefits, hospitality, ticket fulfillment, and game‑day experiences
Maintain detailed and accurate records in CRM and ticketing systems
Support donor alignment and collaboration with development and major gifts teams
Collaboration & Leadership
Provide mentorship and best‑practice guidance to junior sales staff as needed
Represent USF Athletics at events, presentations, and community functions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
2–5 years of experience in premium seating, membership sales, or high‑level ticket sales (collegiate or professional sports preferred)
Proven track record of closing large‑dollar and multi‑year sales
Experience selling premium products tied to new facilities or major projects strongly preferred
Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex sales processes
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event days
