Sales Manager
to direct and implement sales activities of all products through our distribution network in the Midwest territory. In this key role, the successful individual will combine deep technical knowledge of Fristam products with strong relationship-building skills to expand market share and support the company's growth goals.
What You’ll Do:
Manage the level of distribution in the territory to achieve the desired sales results
Demonstrate knowledge of Fristam’s products and effectively convey Fristam quality, advantages, and benefits to the marketplace
Increase Fristam’s market share through effective prospecting of new customers
Provide training to Fristam’s distributor sales people and end-users on Fristam’s product uses and applications.
Provide sales targets to key distributors; develop an action plan with the distributor to include an End User target list for achieving these targets and provide quarterly feedback on the progress per product segment especially focusing on growth products
Collaborate with customers and Applications Engineering team to customize Fristam products to meet customer needs and evaluate issues as necessary
Provide updates on status of large quotes, growth product using Fristam’s quote follow up system
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or related discipline or equivalent experience
Previous experience in a technical sales role meeting/exceeding territory targets.
Strong technical aptitude with mechanical systems, preferably pumps or similar equipment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build rapport and credibility with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven track record in managing a sales pipeline and closing complex deals.
Ability to disassemble and reassemble Fristam products for demonstrations or troubleshooting.
Proficiency in ERP systems, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness and ability to travel within the territory.
Understand 3A and other industry standards
