We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our rapidly growing team!

Telework: 16 hours/week

Description The Technical Writer shall be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation for the HPC organization’s software products, services, and processes. This role requires strong writing skills, a solid understanding of technical concepts, and the ability to translate complex information into user‑friendly content.

Position Required Skills

Familiar with the Linux CLI including understanding of terminology used to provide related documentation

Experience using technical writing tools such as MS Office Tool Suite, MadCap Flare, and Adobe FrameMaker

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

Experience implementing complex documentation practices within a software development environment

Experience using Markup languages including HTML, XML, and Markdown

Experience creating technicaldocumentation for a wide audience

Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

Experience with Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills

Familiar with Agile software development methodologies

Knowledge of the software development lifecycle

Qualifications An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required. BS + 6 yrs exp.

The projected compensation range for this position is $125K - $150K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
