Compensation: $45,000 to $68,000 Annually DOE + Benefits

The Mission (aka The Role) The Associate Account Manager supports client relationships and assists with the day-to-day execution of web, creative, and retainer engagements. This role partners closely with senior account leadership and internal delivery teams to keep projects organized, timelines managed, and communication flowing smoothly. It blends client support, project coordination, and foundational project management responsibilities. This position may also have primary account management responsibility for web maintenance clients and/or one-time website projects, with appropriate guidance and oversight.

The candidate may be based in any of the following US states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI.

Mission Objectives (Essential Functions)

Account Management Assistance

Support client calls, assist with agendas, and draft clear follow-up recaps after meetings.

Track decisions, action items, risks, blockers, and next steps for both clients and internal teams.

Assist with project planning, including maintaining calendars, timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules.

Help manage scopes, task assignments, and dependencies within Monday boards and internal tools.

Coordinate across UX, development, design, video, SEO, and paid media teams to maintain alignment.

Monitor project progress and flag risks, delays, or scope concerns to senior account leadership.

Support resourcing and scheduling by tracking workloads and upcoming deliverables.

Review deliverables to ensure they are on time, on spec, and aligned with client expectations.

Learn client business goals and industry context to better support account strategy and execution.

Client Management

Run and/or support client calls, manage communication, and send follow-up recaps after every meeting.

Document decisions, risks, blockers, and next steps for clients and internal teams.

Ensure internal alignment between UX, dev, design, video, SEO, and paid teams.

Manage scope, timelines, Monday boards, and client expectations proactively.

Understand client business goals and anticipate needs before they arise.

Oversee deliverables and ensure they are on time, on spec, and on quality.

Your Space Suit Specs (Requirements and Qualifications)

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-facing presence.

Highly organized, with comfort managing calendars, timelines, and task lists.

Ability to understand website builds, creative deliverables, and digital strategy at a high level.

Willingness to use AI tools for meeting summaries, project documentation, task organization, and status reporting.

Experience or exposure to digital marketing, creative services, or web-based projects.

Bonus: Familiarity with manufacturing, B2B, or technical industries.

Bonus: Experience in an agency or fast-paced client services environment.

Bonus: Exposure to project management tools or methodologies.
