Description The Investor Relations Analyst will support Invictus Capital Partners’ capital development and investor engagement efforts through market research, investor intelligence, CRM management, and reporting. This role sits at the intersection of investor relations, market research, and data analytics, providing critical insights into the institutional credit investor landscape while supporting day-to-day investor reporting and pipeline tracking.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in private credit, structured finance, and capital markets. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious and interested in learning how institutional investors allocate capital across credit and alternative investment strategies. Key Responsibilities Market & Investor Research
Conduct ongoing research on institutional investors, allocators, and consultants across the credit and alternative investment landscape
Utilize platforms such as eVestment, Preqin, PitchBook, and similar databases to identify prospective investors, mandates, and capital-raising opportunities
Maintain and analyze market intelligence related to investor preferences, portfolio allocations, fund strategies, and competitive positioning
Support capital development initiatives by preparing investor profiles, market summaries, and opportunity analyses
Investor Relations & Capital Pipeline Support
Support the VP of Investor Relations with capital-raising activities and investor engagement efforts
Track and report on the capital pipeline, investor outreach, and active opportunities
Assist in managing outstanding investor deliverables, follow-ups, and reporting timelines
Support placement agent reporting and data requests as needed
CRM & Reporting (Salesforce)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date investor and prospect data within Salesforce
Generate regular and ad hoc reports related to investor activity, pipeline status, and engagement metrics
Support ongoing improvements to CRM data quality, reporting processes, and analytics
Assist with data preparation for internal reporting, leadership updates, and investor materials
Ad Hoc Analysis & Support
Provide analytical support for investor presentations, fundraising materials, and internal strategy discussions
Respond to data and analysis requests from Investor Relations leadership and senior management
Assist with special projects related to investor communications, reporting automation, and market analysis
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, basic modeling)
Strong working knowledge of Outlook and general business technology tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
0–2 years of relevant experience in investor relations, capital markets, private equity, asset management, consulting, or financial services (internships count)
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems
Exposure to institutional investors, private credit, structured finance, or alternative investments
Experience using market intelligence platforms such as eVestment or Preqin
