
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR - Children's Apparel
Responsibilities:
Following up on production and delivery status through daily emails
Keeping track of submissions and production status with the following reports: Time and Action, Work in Process, and daily emails with the factory.
Evaluating and approving fabrics and trim
Distributing lab dips and sample submissions to the Design and Tech departments and passing their comments to factories
Reviewing Lab Test Reports and Inspection Reports
Creating factory Purchase Orders
Creating UPCs, ordering price tickets, and sending them overseas
Working with overseas freight forwarders to approve shipments
Reviewing and approving shipping documents and buying agency commission statements
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Coordinator in the apparel industry
A working knowledge of knit and woven fabrics, construction, washes, and various fabric finishes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word
Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
Details:
This is a full-time, 5 days a week, in-office position.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
