Mission Ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency for U.S. and Canada operations, expediting imports and exports, optimizing costs, and mitigating risks derived from legislative changes, while providing expert foreign trade advisory to internal stakeholders.
Essential Functions
Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian customs regulations (CBP requirements, Reasonable Care Program, BONDS).
Conduct impact analysis of regulatory changes within the USMCA region.
Manage relationships with customs brokers (KPIs, invoicing, processes).
Oversee ACE reporting, CARM portal interaction, and ACH management.
Provide operational support and follow-up for U.S. & CAN trade operations.
Support U.S. origin campaign and Rules of Origin compliance.
Provide foreign trade advisory to internal departments.
Technical Skills
Deep knowledge of U.S. trade and customs legislation (USMCA region).
Expertise in Reasonable Care Program and CBP requirements.
Strong understanding of Foreign Trade Agreements and Rules of Origin.
Experience with ACE and CARM portals.
Advanced Excel skills.
Job profile
Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in U.S. customs operations.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
