Summary Chamberlain Advisors is partnering with a national design-build organization to identify a highly skilled and self-directed Associate Graphic Designer to lead branded creative initiatives and elevate visual storytelling across their portfolios. This role is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing high-impact brand identities and creative assets. This individual will lead the brand visualization process for clients, drive internal creative standards, and ensure that all deliverables reflect strategic intent, aesthetic excellence, and technical precision. The ideal candidate combines strategic brand thinking with refined visual execution. They are comfortable presenting to clients, managing multiple project timelines, and translating abstract brand strategy into cohesive visual systems. What You Will Be Accountable For
Develop logo systems and comprehensive brand identity concepts aligned with brand strategies (when available) to create compelling graphic narratives.
Lead client communication throughout the brand visualization process, ensuring strategic alignment and clear presentation of deliverables at each stage.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop brand naming concepts aligned with client culture, values, and demographic/market research.
Establish visual direction with sophisticated application of typography, color theory, composition, and form.
Produce brand style guidelines, marketing collateral, signage examples, and environmental graphic concepts.
Maintain awareness of emerging trends in retail branding, identity systems, signage, and environmental graphics.
Partner with the Director of Branding to manage project schedules, scope, milestones, and deliverable timelines, including tracking hours.
Support cross-functional design collaboration, including competitive color audits, mood board development, and environmental graphic concepting.
Oversee creative execution of marketing and sales collateral templates to ensure brand consistency and quality control.
Provide creative support for illustration, photography direction, and additional visual content needs as required.
What Qualifications You Need
Associate's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
8–12 years of professional graphic design experience.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently with a high degree of self-sufficiency.
Proven experience leading brand identity development and client-facing presentations.
Advanced expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience incorporating AI tools into creative workflows.
Video content creation capabilities.
Budgeting and cost estimating experience related to creative projects.
Strong brand identity portfolio demonstrating concept-to-execution work.
