As Account Executive, you will take ownership of managing and growing relationships with key accounts across Europe. You will drive business expansion by delivering solutions that meet client needs, working closely with major rail operators, industrial customers, and rolling stock manufacturers. You will identify synergies with stakeholders and translate them into valuable, long-term partnerships. As a strategic and data-driven professional, you will navigate complex sales cycles and lead contract negotiations with senior executives, ensuring successful collaborations and high customer satisfaction. As part of the sales team, you will play a key role in shaping their future position within the rail industry. Tasks and responsibilities
As Account Executive, you will: Build and manage long-term relationships with strategic accounts across various European industries. Drive the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract signature, with a strong focus on customer success and sustainable partnerships. Independently negotiate contracts and manage high-level customer relationships, including engagement with C-level stakeholders. Translate market and customer insights into input for product development to support continuous innovation. Conduct product demonstrations at customer sites when relevant. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, and finance to ensure smooth project execution. Represent the company at industry events and trade fairs to strengthen market presence and expand their network. Requirements
A degree in business administration, (industrial) engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle sales role, preferably in technology-driven B2B environments. Proven track record in managing large accounts and navigating complex sales cycles. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. Excellent organisational and project management skills, with a strong focus on results and customer success. Fluency in English, Dutch, and French; additional European languages are a strong plus. A hands-on, self-driven mindset with an analytical and data-driven approach. Genuine enthusiasm for and interest in cutting-edge technology. Nice to have
Experience or domain knowledge in logistics, railway, autonomous systems, or software / platform-as-a-service businesses. Experience working in a fast-paced scale-up environment. What they offer
