The Boeing Company’s Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Quality Operations Human Resources (HR) organization is seeking an

Associate

Human Resources Business Partner

to join their team in

Ridley Park, PA .

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, inclusive team aimed at shaping the future of HR at Boeing to drive business value for the Philadelphia, PA Vertical Lift portfolio, including H-47, V-22 and MH-139. Each program has business growth, and you will have the direct opportunity to help enable the talent to service their amazing capabilities.

This role requires a hands‑on, visible presence on the manufacturing floor to ensure employees receive support and that concerns are quickly resolved. By partnering with managers and employees, you will have a critical role in driving business value, best‑in‑class employee experience, and effective delivery of HR programs, services, and support in the following key areas:

Employee engagement

Career and employee development

Employee performance

Leadership development

Integration and partnership across Operations, broader HR team, and HR Centers of Excellence, including Ethics, Labor Relations, Total Rewards, and Legal

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR fundamentals, HR support, and relationship‑building serving as a liaison between employees and management, enhancing communication, and ensuring compliance with company policies. They will also have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with a high‑impact communication style.

Position Responsibilities

Maintain a visible HR presence on the manufacturing floor for real‑time engagement and solutions

Serve as a contact for employees at all levels, addressing concerns, guiding on company policies, referral to Human Resource Generalists (HRG) as required, and acting as a neutral party in resolving conflicts

Promote open communication and guide discussions to collaboratively resolve workplace issues in a positive and fair manner

Assist in deployment and administration of HR programs, policies, practices, and processes

Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to provide employee feedback (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and assist in the support in the delivery of programs

Maintain records of employee interactions and resolutions or follow‑up actions

Resolve or refer HR Service Center employee issues

Identify recurring employee concerns or trends, reporting these to HR leadership to develop proactive solutions or interventions

Provide reporting data and analysis for trends in providing solutions or administering new HR programs

Working Conditions

This role requires consistent presence on the manufacturing floor

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with exposure to loud noises, machinery, and manufacturing operations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

1+ years of experience working with employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), with a focus on talent management and workforce planning

1+ years of experience executing HR strategies and managing associated projects

1+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes

Experience in Change Management/Integration

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Bachelor’s Degree or Higher

Human Resources certification (SHRM and/or PHR Certification)

Experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders

Experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders

Experience problem‑solving, analyzing data and utilizing various HR tools and systems

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in crafting executive‑level presentations and utilizing Excel for advanced data analysis

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $80,750 - $109,250
