Razny Jewelers is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Strategist to lead our brand’s social media presence. This role will focus on content strategy, creation, social media management, reporting, and community engagement to drive brand awareness, audience growth, and engagement across all social platforms. The ideal candidate is an expert in social storytelling, understands platform-specific best practices, and can seamlessly blend creative content with data-driven insights to optimize performance. Reporting to the director of marketing, this is a hands‑on role with no direct people management responsibilities. Social Media Strategy and Planning

Lead competitive and industry analysis to identify content trends, gaps, and opportunities that inform strategic direction. Develop, own, and execute Razny Jewelers’ social media strategy and planning, ensuring alignment with integrated marketing initiatives and growth goals. Identify and activate key brand, industry, and cultural moments by monitoring real‑time platforms and cultural trends to drive relevance, reach, and engagement while maintaining brand standards. Monitor and adapt to evolving algorithms, platform updates, and new technologies, including the role of LLMs in social strategy, to maximize organic performance. Brand Presence

Partner with management to define and uphold standards for brand voice, visual identity, messaging, and compliance across all social channels. Collaborate with the marketing team to ideate and produce video, graphic, and photographic content that reflects the luxury positioning of the Razny brand. Ensure a cohesive and polished visual presence across all channels, including profiles, timelines, and related digital layouts. Content Creation and Oversight

Plan, produce, and publish high‑impact content (including text, imagery, short‑ and long‑form video, reels, carousels, stories, and infographics) across all major social platforms to support key Razny initiatives, partner campaigns, events, launches, marquee moments, and seasonal storytelling. Own day‑to‑day management of all social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, and emerging platforms. Capture content at photo and video shoots, including hands‑on shooting and editing. Write engaging, on‑brand copy for captions, stories, and posts, tailored to platform nuances and audience behavior. Manage the social content calendar, scheduling tools, and publishing cadence. Community and Audience Engagement

Develop and execute a community management strategy across key platforms, including Instagram, Reddit, and YouTube. Actively manage real‑time engagement across comments, DMs, mentions, and tags while monitoring customer feedback, reviews, and community sentiment to address concerns, inquiries, and reinforce a positive, consistent brand experience. Establish and maintain guidelines for community management, moderation, escalation, and response standards. Lead social listening and reputation management efforts, including response protocols. Identify, cultivate, and engage brand advocates, employees, and partners to encourage user‑generated content and community growth. Analytics, Reporting, and Optimization

Define and own KPIs and performance metrics for all social media initiatives. Track, analyze, and report on post‑ and channel‑level performance, including engagement, reach, follower growth, content effectiveness, conversion, and ROI, using analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout, and Agora Pulse to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps. Optimize posting cadence, hashtags, CTAs, and format based on performance data. Oversee the development of performance dashboards and reporting, translating data into insights, and optimizing content tone, timing, format, and distribution. Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with marketing, creative, sales, service, and client service teams to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless brand experience across all touchpoints. Collaborate with paid media and digital advertising teams to align organic social efforts with paid campaigns, maximizing impact, performance, and audience targeting. Work with the creative team, designers, photographers, and videographers to produce compelling visuals, reels, videos, images, etc., to ensure smooth execution, alignment on timelines, and delivery against objectives. Provide guidance and training to internal teams on social media best practices, platform updates, and evolving capabilities to support effective social execution. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, social media, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in social media management and content creation, preferably within a social media agency and/or for a luxury, lifestyle, fashion, bridal, or jewelry‑focused brand. A strong portfolio showcasing brand‑forward social content, video creation (long and short form), live event coverage, and campaign execution. Strong understanding of current and emerging social media platforms, best practices, and algorithms, with the ability to grow audiences, drive engagement, and optimize content based on platform‑specific behavior. Ability to think like a producer, from concepting and scripting to identifying and executing high‑performing or viral moments. Experience using content creation and editing tools such as Canva, Vimeo, Adobe Creative Suite, Shopify, Klaviyo, CapCut, etc. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights using social media tools. Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate brand values, aesthetics, tone, and voice across channels. Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with shifting priorities and deadlines. Experience with basic principles of SEO, GEO, and content optimization. Familiarity with Meta paid ads and social media advertising. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support events. This role is based in Highland Park and involves travel to our Chicago, Addison, and Hinsdale showrooms.
