Overview The Analyst will support Customer Growth strategic decision‑making by identifying lottery product performance trends, synthesizing existing research, and translating market dynamics, industry trends, and external factors such as performance of other gaming and consumer product performance into clear, actionable insights. The role will provide analyses that support the development of tools and solutions for instant sales growth (e.g., Game Plan Wizard in the Product Management team). It will also develop KPIs and industry benchmarks and create high‑quality presentations for both internal stakeholders and customers.

The position sits within the broader Marketing organization and plays a key role in shaping how Brightstar customers and internal decision‑makers assess future lottery business growth drivers and how to communicate them internally and externally.

Responsibilities

Identify growth opportunities and strategies for customers by analyzing industry trends, market dynamics, and external forces

Monitor and synthesize industry trends, competitive dynamics, and external developments

Collect, evaluate, and integrate existing research and data from internal and external sourcesApply sound analytical and statistical judgment to interpret findings, limitations, and implications

Analyze how external factors affecting lottery consumer behavior (other gaming offerings, for example) may impact the industry and leverage that insight to guide customer growth opportunities

Develop and maintain KPIs and industry benchmarks to support performance tracking and strategic discussions

Create clear, compelling presentations for internal stakeholders and external customers

Partner with Marketing, leadership, and cross‑functional teams to ensure insights are effectively communicated

Qualifications Required Qualifications

Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills

Experience working with research, data, or analytical outputs in an applied setting

Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and assess credibility

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development

Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools

Preferred Qualifications

Comfort with statistical concepts (e.g., trends, distributions, correlations)

Experience with applied research in industry, consulting, government, or academic settings

Background in economics, statistics, public policy, sociology, political science, or related fields

Experience developing or working with KPIs, benchmarks, or performance metrics

Experience with data presentation tools such as PowerBI and Tableau

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
