
To support our expanding operations in the EU DIY market, we are seeking a strategic and results‑driven DIY Key Account Manager to manage and nurture relationships with headquarters‑level clients (e.g., OBI, Bauhaus, and other DIY/CE chains). This role is pivotal in securing national/multi‑store orders and driving long‑term business growth.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain relationships with headquarters‑level clients across Europe.
Lead negotiations on contract terms, pricing, profitability, category entry, and shelf placement.
Develop and execute promotional strategies aligned with client objectives.
Secure framework agreements or large‑scale orders by engaging with high‑level decision‑makers at client headquarters.
Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product Management, Logistics) to ensure alignment with client needs.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide strategic insights.
Prepare and present sales reports, performance analyses, and business proposals.
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the DIY/retail/consumer goods sector.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic mindset with the ability to drive high‑level partnerships.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools is a plus.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are advantageous.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and business trips.
