
Regional Sales Manager - Waterworks distribution

As the Oregon Regional Water Works Sales Manager, you will set direction, build capability, and ensure execution across our Water Works sales organization.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop outside sales teams in Tigard, Salem, Eugene, and Bend
Create and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals
Establish sales plans, performance targets, and operating procedures
Coach and develop high-performing sales professionals in a culture of accountability
Partner with branch leadership to drive coordinated growth efforts
Maintain strong relationships with key customers and vendor partners
Oversee regional sales and marketing alignment to maximize market penetration
Monitor performance metrics and guide teams toward achieving revenue and margin objectives
Travel regularly across the territory to support teams and customers
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of successful sales management in a
Water Works wholesale distribution environment
Must have experience in
business-to-business (B2B) process of purchasing pipes, valves, fittings, and other water infrastructure products in large quantities from manufacturers and selling them to contractors, municipalities, and utility companies.
Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial leadership approach
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales teams
Track record of building high-performance, high-accountability cultures
Excellent communication, investigative, analytical, and decision-making skills
Experience managing complex customer relationships
Strong planning, prioritization, and follow-through skills
Proficient with business software including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel extensively within the region
