
A global leader in equipment manufacturing is seeking a driven field sales representative to cover a key market in New England. This role is focused on selling high-end, automated systems to a mix of new and existing clients across convenience stores, automotive dealerships, and other commercial buyers.
Position Summary This is a hands-on, relationship-focused sales role with a blend of new business development and account management. The ideal candidate understands the capital equipment sales process, is comfortable managing long sales cycles, and thrives in an outside sales environment
Key Responsibilities Drive sales across a defined territory Prospect and identify new business opportunities through outreach, referrals, and strategic partnerships Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and site assessment through deal negotiation and handoff to project teams Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers including business owners and general contractors Maintain an active pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, installation, and customer support teams
Qualifications 3+ years of experience in capital equipment or industrial B2B sales Familiarity with selling into convenience store, fuel retail, or automotive sectors strongly preferred but not required Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-starter with the ability to manage a territory independently Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned region
