Collections Specialist

In this role, you will focus on managing and resolving outstanding balances for both commercial and consumer accounts. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain accurate records will be essential to ensuring a seamless collections process. Responsibilities: Contact customers to address overdue accounts and discuss payment options. Document all interactions and updates related to collection efforts in a clear and organized manner. Manage the collection process for both commercial and consumer accounts, ensuring timely resolution. Evaluate account histories to identify discrepancies and propose solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure account information is accurate and up-to-date. Follow established credit and collections policies while adhering to relevant regulations. Provide detailed reports on collection activities and account statuses to management. Address customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues with attention to detail. Monitor accounts for compliance with payment terms and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements: Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections. Familiarity with credit and collections processes, including billing collection. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers effectively. Ability to analyze account data and identify discrepancies. Proficiency in maintaining organized and accurate records. Knowledge of collections regulations and compliance standards.
