Order Entry Specialist

The Order Entry Specialist plays a crucial role in processing orders, solving problems, and responding to inquiries about order status. This position involves supporting high-spend customers with large volume orders and managing salesforce cases and credits. The specialist will ensure accurate entry and management of customer orders, resolve inquiries, and maintain a seamless order lifecycle. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and focused in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently enter customer orders into the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX), seeking clarification from customers, sales, finance, and other departments when necessary. Manage the complete order cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction from order entry through delivery and resolution of issues. Process cases, inquiries, credits, and complaints from Salesforce queues. Create and document complaints in Salesforce, determine root causes, and process Credit/Rebill or Credit/Reship RMAs as required. Provide non-technical product and pricing information. Essential Skills 23 years of order management experience Experience with Salesforce (must-have) Experience working with an ERP system Strong accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work in a high-volume, structured environment Proficiency in Excel Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with inquiries, credits, or returns Experience in Manufacturing, Shipping, or Sales support Experience supporting high-spend or enterprise customers Forward-thinking and solution-oriented mindset Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills Ability to retain knowledge quickly, flexible and adaptable Passion for delivering quality work and pride in job performance Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
