Travel Physical Therapist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated physical therapist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Garberville, California. The ideal candidate will be a licensed physical therapist with experience working in fast-paced environments. They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong analytical abilities. A doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred but not required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' conditions using standardized tests and examinations to identify functional limitations and treatment needs
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
