Loss Mitigation Intake Coordinator

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

Contract: 3 Months (With potential extension or full-time conversion)

Role Overview

Guild Mortgage is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loss Mitigation Intake Coordinator to support our borrower assistance process. This position is responsible for managing incoming requests, reviewing financial documentation, and ensuring files meet all regulatory and investor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Process and track high volumes of borrower emails daily

Initiate and manage loss mitigation applications

Review and validate financial and supporting documents

Upload documentation and maintain accuracy in internal systems

Follow up on incomplete submissions to meet required timelines

Provide professional customer service to borrowers

Support administrative tasks, including scheduled mailings

Qualifications

Experience in loss mitigation or mortgage servicing preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage repetitive, high-volume workloads

Knowledge of RESPA / Regulation X

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)

Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment

Interview Process

Two interview rounds (virtual or onsite).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
