
Brooksource is seeking a Data Center Technician I / Asset Management Specialist to support day-to-day business-as-usual (BAU) operations within our telecommunication client’s data center environment. This role focuses on asset management activities including shipment receiving, hardware shipping, inventory auditing, and coordination of asset disposal. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced technical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and ship data center hardware and equipment Audit and maintain inventory rooms and asset records Update and manage inventory databases accurately Utilize ticketing platforms to track asset activities Coordinate with leadership on hardware disposal processes Ensure compliance with internal asset management procedures Support general data center operational needs as required Required Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or asset/inventory management Experience using inventory databases and ticketing systems Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as required What’s in it for you?
