Associate Property Manager, Multifamily (Floating) As an Associate Property Manager, you will maintain communities to a market‑ready standard and ensure a high level of service at all times. You will build and motivate high‑performing teams to maximize property performance.

Responsibilities

Assist the Regional Property Manager with overall building operations.

Ensure the smooth running of the community in a fast‑paced environment.

Oversee all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.

Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.

Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure company standards.

Track and evaluate advertising and client traffic.

Lead by example, instill, maintain, and model the Cushman & Wakefield mission.

Supervise day‑to‑day operations of the on‑site team, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.

Maintain effective on‑site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching.

Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards.

Create a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow‑up.

Manage and maintain overall community budget and finances.

Work with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals.

Competencies

Effective communication and customer service skills.

Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.

General office, bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting to improve performance.

Supervise day‑to‑day operations of the team, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.

Work with leasing staff to achieve leasing/marketing goals.

Ability to manage a team.

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required.

Experience

3+ years of Property Management experience.

1+ year of Management experience.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. It routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. It requires regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands Employees may need to stand and walk for extended periods, ascend and descend staircases, ladders and step stools, and travel outside between buildings. The employee may also need to remain stationary (sit or stand) for about 85% of the time and operate office machinery regularly.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation for the position is: $34.00 – $40.00.
