Reputable Top 20 ENR Southeast General Contractor headquartered in Charlotte is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to join its growing team.
This firm focuses on negotiated and repeat business across Commercial, Mixed-Use, Education, Hospitality, and Industrial projects throughout the region. Strong backlog, stable leadership, and long-term growth strategy in place.
The Role
Lead preconstruction efforts from early concept through GMP. Prepare and oversee conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and proposals. Manage takeoffs, cost analysis, and value engineering. Partner with executives, operations teams, and clients during pursuit and budgeting phases. Support proposal strategy and project award efforts. Mentor junior estimators and support team development. Qualifications
4+ years of GC estimating or preconstruction experience. Strong takeoff, quantity surveying, and cost modeling skills. Experience with conceptual and negotiated work. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. Top-tier base salary. Annual bonus + profit sharing. 401(k) with match.
