
Schap’s Sourcing is partnering with a fast-growing build-to-rent townhome developer to hire a Lease-Up Agent for an exciting new community launch in the South Charlotte area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with prospects, driving leasing activity, and being part of a brand-new community from day one.
You’ll be on the front lines of leasing—handling tours, follow-ups, applications, and lease execution—while working closely with ownership, property management, and construction teams to support a successful lease-up.
Key Responsibilities
Lease-Up & Leasing Operations
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents Conduct in-person and virtual tours and manage follow-up communications Process applications, screening, and lease execution Maintain accurate records in leasing and CRM systems Support leasing and marketing initiatives for the new townhome community Assist with signage, online listings, and local outreach efforts Track lead sources and provide feedback on marketing performance Resident Experience
Deliver a professional, welcoming experience from first inquiry through move-in Communicate availability, pricing, and community features clearly and consistently Assist with move-in coordination and early resident satisfaction Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with construction and management teams on unit readiness Track leasing activity, traffic, and occupancy progress Support administrative and reporting needs during lease-up Qualifications
1–3 years of leasing, sales, or customer-facing experience (property management preferred) Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced lease-up environment Organized and detail-oriented Familiarity with leasing software, CRMs, or property management systems is a plus Availability to work some weekends during active lease-up periods Why This Role
