
Overview
Gold Standard is looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager that is eager and excited to build their sales career and join our team. You will be calling agents daily to build relationships to provide support. This will include educating them on our products, processes, answering questions, providing various reports, reviewing claim questions, etc. You will also be responsible for growing your Agents’ book of business by working with them and their dealerships, to expand their markets. You will use multiple software programs and other basic computer programs to assist you in this role. The ideal candidate will have an energetic, can-do attitude and be comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment. Responsibilities
Daily engagement with external Sales Agents, their(our) dealerships, and customers. Drive sales growth by proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market through new or existing Agents. Be a subject matter expert of the automotive industry and an evangelist of Gold Standard’s expansive list of product offerings. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and demonstrate effective use of time management. Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and have great follow-up with team and agents/agencies. Report to Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results. May work other duties as assigned within the sales department and other departments as needs arise. Must be able to take occasional calls outside of scheduled work hours to assist agents and dealers. Competency (knowledge/skills/abilities)
Ability to communicate with agents, dealers, repair facilities, customers, and internal staff. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and demonstrate effective use of time management. Ability to be flexible in role as needs arise. Must be detail oriented. Must excel with continued follow-up. Must have basic computer skills. Must have excellent phone and in-person communication skills. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent negotiation skills. Education and Experience
Proven work experience as an Account Manager, or similar role in the automotive space. Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques. Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). Understanding of sales performance metrics. Strong time management and organization skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Qualifications
Working in an office environment. Work required during the day and after hours at night as needed. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Physical requirements include standing, typing, and communication verbally. Ability to lift, sedentary – up to 10 pounds at a time. Additional Information
