Cultural & Social Editor Cultural + Social Editor - Freelance Overview:
This role sits at the intersection of creative direction, editorial, and cultural storytelling. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing a clear, distinctive content POV for the brand — from Instagram and email to long‑form editorial and campaign moments.
This is not a traditional social media role. We’re looking for someone with strong taste, cultural awareness, and a sharp editorial instinct — someone who understands how luxury and design brands build relevance through content, restraint, and timing.

A clearly recognizable BENI POV
Content that creates desire and conversation, not just consistency
Sharp POV and stronger creative standards
A voice that feels culturally fluent and editorial, not brand‑safe
For a self‑starter who loves design, thrives in entrepreneurial environments, and wants to make a tangible impact, this is a pivotal role in Beni’s next chapter.
Recap of Responsibilities:
Own BENI’s content POV across social, email, and editorial
Develop and execute social strategy (feed, stories, campaigns, BTS)
Direct and collaborate with our internal creative team (photo/video)
Shape brand voice and narrative across launches, collections, and campaigns
Lead content planning and calendars (not just scheduling)
Oversee editorial projects (journal, long‑form storytelling)
Brief external copywriters or contributors as needed
Who You Are
Have strong editorial taste and cultural literacy
Follow fashion, design, art, and creative brands closely
Know how luxury brands communicate
Can articulate a point of view and defend creative decisions
Are as comfortable directing content as writing it
Think in moments and narratives, not just posts
Are handy with a camera (iPhone or otherwise)
