Overview
Otsego Public Schools’ staff is the heart of the district. We are looking for a Director of Communications to be a strategic leader of district communications, promotional efforts and maintaining our public platforms.
Primary Tasks Maintain frequent and effective communication with district administrators to meet the needs of educational, extracurricular and community education programs
Promote district highlights across multiple channels
Partner with local media on newsworthy items
Create promotional materials, district quarterly newsletter and annual reports
Maintain district website, social media platforms
Requirements and Experience Bachelor's Degree in business, public relations, journalism or other related field preferred
Minimum 5 years experience
Strong work ethic with a high level of confidentiality
