Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a creative and innovative Activities Director for grades 6-12 beginning July 1, 2026.
The Activities Director strategically leads, proactively plans, and skillfully coordinates the operation of extracurricular programs, athletics, activities, and all related facility operations for grades 6-12.
Job Summary
Provide supervision, coordination, and continuous improvement of the Hutchinson Activities Department, Grades 6-12.
Provide strategic leadership consistent with Hutchinson Public Schools mission, core values, goals and objectives.
Provide consistent enforcement of Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) and District policies.
Education/Certification
Minnesota administrative licensure preferred. Master's degree in Educational Leadership or Certified Athletic Administrator license preferred.
Experience
Five years teaching experience preferred. Head coaching or advising experience preferred.
Evaluation
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of professional personnel.

Compensation
Up to $121,863.06 per year based on a 210 day calendar. Salary is dependent on education.
Hutchinson High School is a state-of-the-art, comprehensive high school serving students in grades 9-12 with an enrollment of approximately 900 students. Our facility was completely renovated in 2018 and is a member of the Wright County Conference - East Division along with Delano, Holy Family, Jordan, Westonka, and Southwest Christian high schools.
