Inside Sales Manager leads and motivates the customer service team to ensure they are giving the best customer service possible. They are expected to know the company products and policies inside and out and be able to communicate it to other members of staff to address any issues/ disputes from customers. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Create and maintain a positive customer service culture. Manage, develop, coach, control, and motivate the customer service representative to develop their skills to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and sales and service targets met. Oversee open customer orders to ensure inside sales staff is managing orders to completion and billing. Assist in developing and implementing sales plans and policies to accommodate company goals. Assist in setting performance goals for customer service representatives. Analyze and review customer service representative’s performance. Manage customer service representatives to confirm they are implementing customer contract pricing, customer cross reference, managing their open customer orders and customer on-time compliance. Manage and review contract and strategic pricing compliance by customer service representatives. Assign primary and back-up customer service representatives to key accounts as needed. Work with field sales representatives and sales management to support end-user expectations. Meet with key customers as needed and assist Field Sales representatives with maintaining their relationships with customers. Discuss their evolving needs and how customer service can assist and support them. Work with accounting on an as needed basis to assist in collections or PO cost reconciliation. Meet and communicate with key Vendors as needed to facilitate a strong partnership while challenging them for “best price, terms, and programs” and work to understand key vendor metrics for which we are measured. Promote AD suppliers with our customer service team. Basic Job Requirements

7+ years inside sales or customer service experience. 5+ years in a similar departmental management position leading a staff of 5 or more employees. Knowledge and familiarity with similar products preferred. Knowledge and familiarity with territory/ region preferred. Supervisory Responsibility:

This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and participates in the recruiting and hiring of the employees within that department. Manage employee reviews as scheduled and needed. Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, i-Pads, smart phones, photocopiers, scanning equipment, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While the office portion of this job is largely a sedentary role, you need to have the ability to lift files and boxes. You should have the ability to lift up to 10 pounds, and walk the warehouse as you review inventory from time to time. Travel:
