Role Description This is a full-time, in-office Account Manager (Sales) role located in either our Norfolk or Virginia Beach office.
The Account Manager will be responsible for developing leads, building strong customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and educating clients on coverage options. This role works directly with the agent to meet marketing and production goals while delivering outstanding service.
Daily Responsibilities
Developing and following up on leads
Scheduling appointments and conducting coverage reviews
Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts
Educating customers on auto, home, life, and business insurance options
Meeting sales and production goals in a fast-paced environment
Maintaining accurate documentation and client follow-up
This position offers a salary plus commission and bonus structure with strong earning potential.
Qualifications
Sales experience preferred (inside sales, outside sales, retail, or telemarketing)
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Goal-oriented and self-motivated
Detail-focused with strong organizational skills
Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses preferred (or ability to obtain)
Prior State Farm agency experience highly valued
