About Our Client Our client is a general contractor specializing in high-end residential interior renovations for private clientele throughout Brooklyn and NYC. Their projects consist of full gut renovations of brownstones, townhomes, single-family residences, luxury apartments, and penthouses. They are known for exceptional craftsmanship, refined finishes, and a hands‑on, detail-driven approach to construction.

Job Description As a Carpentry Foreman, you will be responsible for the following:

Lead and supervise carpentry crews on high-end residential projects

Perform and oversee framing, millwork, trim, and finish carpentry

Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings

Coordinate daily work plans with the Project Manager and site team

Ensure work meets quality, safety, and schedule expectations

Train and mentor carpenters and apprentices

Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites

The Successful Applicant

7+ years of carpentry experience in high-end residential construction

Prior foreman or lead carpenter experience required

Strong background in luxury interior renovations

Experience with brownstones, townhomes, apartments, and penthouses

Ability to read drawings and manage crews effectively

Knowledge of NYC building practices and jobsite safety standards

High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
