Our client is an apparel and fashion manufacturer. They seek a Senior Director of Accounting and Finance to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting and finance functions, including monthly close and daily transactional activity impacting financial results Manage revenue reporting, monthly financial statements, and internal management reporting Lead financial, bank, and licensing audits and serve as the primary point of coordination Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, including fund collections and disbursements Identify, assess, and manage financial and operational risk Develop, implement, and enforce financial policies, controls, and procedures Prepare, review, and file required tax documents and regulatory filings Produce financial reports to support executive decision-making Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and workflows Develop a deep understanding of the business’s financing dynamics and operating model Partner with cross-functional leaders to manage inventory exposure, cost controls, and customer dilution initiatives Requirements
