Responsible for overseeing and managing the creation, curation and distribution of engaging content across multiple platforms. This role will ensure that content is aligned with the organization’s voice, goals and target audiences. This role will collaborate with various teams to develop content strategies, manage projects and analyze the performance of content campaigns.

Essential Functions

Executes and manages digital media campaigns by building and trafficking organic and paid posts that increases followers and overall engagement.

Develops a content strategy calendar and distribution schedule supporting digital media channels for CVB stakeholders under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Brand Management.

Writes, creates and edits engaging content for social media for Grapevine CVB accounts.

Works with Marketing & Communications team members to create engaging posts, reels and videos.

Analyzes campaign performance and ensures all campaigns are aligned to overall strategies and optimized to key performance indicators.

Responsible for reporting on social media analytics weekly.

Explores opportunities utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance digital media strategies and performance.

Researches industry trends and news and incorporates relevant information into social media content.

Coordinates engaging online promotions/sweepstakes across social media channels using best practices.

Understands social media strategy, brand voice and guidelines while communicating with audiences efficiently across platforms.

Engages with all social media audiences and responds to messages in a timely manner.

Manages and posts pertinent content related to CVB stakeholders such as new business openings, special events, anniversaries, personalities and other relevant destination updates.

Manages photo and video content galleries to ensure content is current, up-to-date and organized.

Assists with providing proper photo and video content in a timely manner to internal and external stakeholders as requested.

Oversees photo and video schedules, shot lists and content gathering with freelance photographers and advertising agency.

Seeks timely review of all content and assignments.

Performs related duties as directed when such duties are logical and appropriate assignments to the position.

Regular and timely attendance is required for this position.

Interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers and others in the course of daily work.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Excellent organization, interpersonal, writing, multitasking and communications skills with an exceptional grasp of the English language and grammar are required.

Creative thinking for all projects and ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment are required.

Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and some Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.

Comfortable working in a public or outdoor environment.

Ability to provide excellent customer services including a desire to help customers regardless of their circumstance.

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Ability to maintain cooperative‑working relationships with employees and those contacted in the course of work.

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required in advertising, marketing or related field plus three (3) years of comparable project management and advertising agency experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Must pass a Federal/National criminal background check and must have a valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as defined by City policy.

Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
