We’re looking for a Freelance Digital Marketing Specialist to step into a pivotal, execution focused role supporting global social media and content calendar delivery across multiple regions. This position plays a key part in maintaining consistent, high-quality digital presence and campaign alignment while ensuring day-to-day social operations run smoothly during maternity cover. Contract type:

About 340 to 370 hours total Who We're Looking For (Is this you?)

3–5 years’ experience in digital or social media marketing, with strong channel management Experience managing LinkedIn & at least two other major social platforms for a brand Confident executor who can work independently & keep delivery moving without constant supervision Strong copywriting skills with the ability to match brand tone and adapt messaging by platform Comfortable using tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn tools, Hootsuite or similar schedulers Experience working with content calendars and campaign-based marketing plans Highly organised, detail focused, and comfortable managing multiple content streams at once Your Mission (What You'll Do)

Social Media Execution & Publishing Schedule, publish, and monitor content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and YouTube Adapt campaign and internal content into platform ready social posts Ensure all posts are accurate, on brand, and delivered according to the content schedule Optimise post formatting per platform requirements and best practice Community Management & Engagement Manage daily engagement across channels including comments, mentions, and tags Escalate sensitive or brand risk interactions to the internal team where needed Identify engagement opportunities and support positive brand visibility Repost and amplify approved partner or campaign content Content Calendar & Campaign Coordination Maintain and update the central marketing content calendar Coordinate campaign content timing with internal stakeholders Track awareness days, campaign milestones, and key marketing moments Ensure assets and copy are ready ahead of scheduled publishing dates Reporting & Performance Tracking Prepare monthly and campaign specific social performance reports Track core engagement and reach metrics across platforms Highlight notable content performance and emerging trends Share simple performance insights with the marketing team Asset & Design Coordination Create clear, simple design briefs for social and campaign assets Coordinate Canva or templated asset creation where required Work with internal or external designers to ensure timely asset delivery Check final assets for brand and platform suitability Market & Trend Awareness Monitor competitor and industry social activity Flag relevant trends, content formats, and engagement patterns Suggest practical content ideas based on observed trends and platform changes Join Salt.
