Position Overview Fund Structuring Analysts support investment teams, legal counsel, and operations teams by assisting with the design, setup, and structuring of investment funds and vehicles. The role blends financial, legal, and operational analysis to ensure funds are efficiently structured, compliant, and aligned with investor objectives.

These roles often involve collaboration with portfolio managers, fund lawyers, auditors, tax advisors, and fund administrators.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in structuring investment funds, special purpose vehicles (SPVs), and co-investment vehicles

Support fund formation processes, including documentation review and coordination with legal counsel

Conduct financial and operational modeling for fund terms, waterfalls, and fee structures

Prepare investor-facing fund materials, including subscription documents and fund summaries

Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure accurate fund setup and compliance

Analyze and document fund legal structures, governance, and regulatory requirements

Maintain internal tracking and reporting of fund vehicles, capital commitments, and structuring milestones

Identify process efficiencies and support operational improvements in fund setup and management

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, or a related field

Understanding of investment fund structures, private equity, venture capital, or alternative investment vehicles

Familiarity with fund documentation, legal agreements, and regulatory considerations

Strong analytical and modeling skills, including Excel proficiency; familiarity with VBA, SQL, or other financial tools is a plus

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Interest in fund structuring, investment vehicles, and private capital markets
