You’re a proactive problem solver who collaborates well across disciplines, advocates for the user, and seeks opportunities to mentor peers and influence product direction.# **Major Responsibilities*** Design mobile experiences that integrate with connected systems and physical products.* Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA to define requirements, explore design options, and ensure a high-quality implementation.* Apply a systems-thinking approach to create cohesive end-to-end experiences.* Conduct and synthesize user research to inform design direction and validate solutions.* Develop and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.* Contribute to the evolution of our design system and advocate for consistent, scalable design patterns.* Communicate design rationale and decisions clearly to stakeholders and team members.* Participate in product planning conversations and contribute to roadmap prioritization through the lens of user experience.* Provide feedback to peers and support junior designers through informal mentorship.* Champion a user-centered mindset within cross-functional teams and help shape design best practices across the organization.**Minimum Job Requirements****Education*** Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.**Work Experience*** 5+ years of experience designing digital products for mobile and web applications.* A portfolio that demonstrates strong design craft, thoughtful problem-solving, and shipped work at scale.**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities*** Advanced proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping* Strong understanding of user-centered design processes and interaction design principles* Ability to analyze user research and apply insights to improve product experiences* Excellent collaboration and communication skills* Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams* Working knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design* Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality design work* Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working with ambiguity**Preferred Job Requirements****Work Experience*** Experience designing for connected devices or IoT platforms* History of contributing to or managing design systems* Experience conducting usability testing and synthesizing results**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities*** Familiarity with Maze or other UX research tools* Basic understanding of HTML/CSS* Experience facilitating workshops or collaborative design sessions# **Physical Demands**: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
